Last year, Michigan voted to repeal their prevailing wage law. Since then, the group Protect Michigan Jobs, filed a lawsuit to overturn the initiative on the alleged basis that it was enacted unconstitutionally. However, in a recent order by the Michigan Court of Claims Judge Cynthia Diane Stephens, the court determined those claims were invalid, and concluded that the repeal initiative was a duly enacted law.
